After a nice long chat withh the other half, this song comes to mind… usually after moments of ear to ear grins about the various ups and downs of the day. I dont intend to make this a youtube blog, but yea this is yet another song that grabs me.

Quite possibly one of the best love songs ever written, Sade’s By Your Side has always shaken me to the core. I’m fairly certain I’ve listened to their album, Lover’s Rock , countless times and it only hits home more and more each time. Sade’s voice is ethereal, impeccable and utterly exquisite. Contrast that with Beachwood Spark’s cover. A more loose, meandering take on such a tighly hewed song. Although it’s difficult to listen to all the way through, it’s grown on me tremendously.
